I don't want to live in Kansas anymore

So if you follow this blog you know that I moved to Kansas in November 2013 because my husband who is in the military got stationed here. I have been bored ever since. Now I don't want to offend anyone who is from Kansas and loves the state but this place is not for me. Here are a few reasons I am not liking Kansas very much.
1. TORNADOES. I have a phobia of tornadoes. I mean the thought of this natural event sends me into a panic. Every time there is thunder and rain I start to panic that we will have a tornado. And then I have to clean my tornado shelter ( which is really just a big closet) because I use it as my art studio. Yes I Know.....not very smart but what can  say.
2.BUGS. I honestly didn't think that there would be a bug problem here in Kansas but there is. Seems like there are moths everywhere waiting for their attack.
3.THERE IS NOTHING TO DO. I am really bored here. It seems like everything is always an hour or 2 away. I grew up on the East Coast so I am used to everything being near me. No offense to anyone form Kansas......but this place is not for me.

However. The scenery is pretty. Every time I am driving I can't help but be inspired by the beautiful fields and the open sky. The abstract landscape above is actually inspired by the landscape of Kansas.

Anyway, I am hoping that somehow my husband gets new orders.

(Overlook any typos, my huge cat is lying on me, lol, but I'm trying to hold tablet and type) I love your art, love your bl8g, there's some great posts here! I have terrible anxiety too, but I'm going to trt filling my head with shapes and colors :) I have ideas all tge time, but worry seems to be the main focus of my mind! Stuck in a place I really really don't like, w dreams but my health gets in the way. I feel for you! I used to hide in closets during storms, growing up, and now part of me enjoys a good storm, and part still gets scared. But I don't live in a tornado prone place, if I did, I'd be in that closet every storm!
i must stop, my arms r aching, lol, gotta put tablet down! I'll be back! Take care ♥

Tricia thanks so much for taking the time to comment. Living with anxiety is very difficult but I think we can overcome this illness.
By the way I linked to your website and love your art. Do you have an instagram? If you do let me know, I would love to follow you!
