 A week ago my family and I went to Kansas City for the weekend. This is the first time that we have visited Kansas City since moving to Kansas about a year and some months ago. We arrived Saturday evening and stayed at the Embassy suites near the plaza. I was really excited to visit because I heard so many good thing about KC, such as their art culture and cute boutique stores. Unfortunately I did not get to explore the city as much as I wanted to because we had to leave midday on Sunday. Also I walked to the plaza center (shopping district) Sunday morning only to find that most stores opened at noon. So I did not get to do as much shopping as I wanted to but I still had fun. Below are some images of the plaza area in KC. I must note at the time I was taking the pictures, I was also carrying coffee for my husband and I so the pics are not the greatest, but I'll share anyway.
